This painting carries the story of red dust Country, where the soil glows with rich ochres and deep earthy tones.
The dots trace the movement of the land, like footprints, winds, and shifting sands, layered together as if the earth itself is breathing.
Each mark is a reminder of the strength and spirit held in the ground, of the way Country holds memory, story, and connection.
For me, these colours are more than paint, they are home. They remind me of walking barefoot on warm soil, of the dust that clings to skin and stays with you long after you leave
In this piece, I hold my own connection to Country, carrying forward its stories with respect, love, and belonging
