Townsville On Country | Connecting the Dots Through Culture

What a weekend this was. Being invited into the Connecting the Dots Through Culture workshop with Jackie and Cecelia was truly special 🤍 a space filled with knowledge sharing, deep listening, creativity, and connection.

I’m Ash from Dreaming in Dots, and I had the honour of guiding our collective art piece as well as personal journals for everyone to take home, something meaningful, grounded, and connected to the wisdom they gathered over the three days. Watching each person express their stories and culture through art filled my heart.

Standing here as an Aboriginal artist, surrounded by community and sacred teachings, makes me incredibly proud. Proud of my mob, proud of the work I do, and proud of my ancestors who walked before me and continue to guide every brushstroke, every dot, every moment.
